Educational School Trip to Norimberk

December 12, our students visited the Christmas markets in Nürnberg, which was completely destroyed during the Second World War. Historic building have been restored, so we can see the city in the original form. On rocky hill stands the castle. The first mention of it is from the year 1050 and until 16 century was the occasional residence of the kings and emperors of the Holy Roman Empire. Here is 47m deep rectangular, cylindrical and pentagon tower, which served as defensive toner. Next to the gate is a few half-timbered houses. One of them is called Albrecht- Dürer-Haus. Here lived a significant period of humanism painter Albrecht Dürer. At the Town Hall holds copies of the crown jewels of the emperors.
